What you need for the perfect Instant Team function

Will your business computers understand our project management software? What to look out for and what network and device requirements does Instant Team have? We have prepared a smart overview for you, with which you can easily find out whether it is possible to introduce it to your company immediately.

What should be the equipment of computers

Computers running Instant Team software should be equipped with hardware and software with certain parameters. This way you can be sure that everything will go smoothly.

Operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows 7/8.1/10/11
  • macOS High Sierra/Mojave/Catalina/Big Sur/Monterey/Ventura with Intel processor or ARM
  • Some of the latest Linux distributions

Processor:

  • Intel Pentium or better

Memory:

  • 2 GB RAM or more

Disk:

  • 1 GB or more

What your connection should be

An Internet connection is important for the hosted and trial versions of the program. And what should it meet? You will need a permanent Internet connection that will not block outgoing TCP connections to port 5370. Alternatively, you can use WebSockets (with standard port 80) or Secure WebSockets (with standard port 443). Contact us or your network administrator if you are unsure. He/she will know what it's about.

Are you unable to connect to an Instant Team server?

If you can't connect to our server, don't be sad. We have written some tips for you on how to proceed.

What are the options:

  • Make sure your internet connection is secure and well set up. Try, for example, whether another website or e-mail works, or another Internet service.
  • Check that you have not modified the server address in the login dialog box. It should always be in form "hosted.instant-team.com".
  • Try using the WebSockets or Secure WebSockets protocol instead of the default Sockets (you can switch protocols in the Login dialog).
  • Check that your firewall or proxy does not block outgoing connections to port 5370 (or. 80 or 443). The set network rules are checked by your network administrators.
